After a month long winter break in Charlotte, I returned back to Asheville, ready to be the productive (more like procrastinating) college kid that I am. Instead, on the friday morning after I returned, I woke up to snow. LOTS of snow. Since then, there has been snow on the ground and ice on the roads. We've gone on snow walks, worked on a 1000 piece puzzle, finished season 2 of Sex and the City and season 5 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and listened to bands from ABBA to Mumford & Sons. We've also playedmore games than I can count. A least 5 monopoly, agame of Farkle, so many rounds of Pit, and in the midst of that, we tried to reinvent each into a drinking game. I'm not a big drinker, but since I recently turned 21 I've decided to live it up for a few weeks... and being snowed in with nothing to do made it pretty easy to do. Anyways, this week long hiatus at home has got me reading blogs and I really enjoyed them. I thought it'd be a fantastic idea to start my own, basing it one some writing, but mainly photographs. This way I make taking photos a routine thing, and not just a school assignment or money assignment. To start this off I'll post some photos of beingsnowed in, none of which are fantastic works of art, but photos I find enjoyable.
